He Is Risen!

Many view tomorrow morning, Sunday, the anniversary of the Lord's resurrection. It is wonderful that many take this day to go to church - some for the first time. What is sad is that this day has become so marked with pagan practices such as the egg, the bunny, and even the word Easter. These deep entrenched traditions have even caused the church to forget the Jewish roots of our faith. The Lord was crucified on Passover. If His crucifixion had been this year, that was from Monday at sundown until Tuesday at sundown. Our Lord would have been in the grave of owned by Joseph before the sun set on Tuesday of this past week. He would arise 3 days and 3 nights later, on the Feast of First Fruits. For 2010, that would mean he would have come up from the grave sometime from sundown Friday until just before sunrise on Saturday.

As Christians, we must come to realize it is not about the bunny but about the blood!

"Clean out the old leaven so that you may be a new lump, just as you are in fact unleavened. For Christ our Passover also has been sacrificed. Therefore let us celebrate the feast. . ."

From Passover to Easter?!?!

Now that Passover is behind us and we head toward Good Friday and Easter, I thought that this little short video would be appropriate for the church.



"You must not worship the LORD your God in their way, because in worshiping their gods, they do all kinds of detestable things the LORD hates. They even burn their sons and daughters in the fire as sacrifices to their gods." Deut 12:31 (NIV)

Christ Our Passover

From Monday evening to Tuesday evening marks the Lord's Passover. This is the day that many Christians call the Last Supper. It was more than that, though. It was our Jewish Savior, with his Jewish disciples, following a precious Jewish custom. It was so important to the Lord that "he said unto them, With desire I have desired to eat this passover with you before I suffer." (Luke 22:15). Even more so, during the supper, the Lord reminded the disciples to keep the Passover "in remembrance of me.” (Luke 22:19). Even Paul, years afterwards, says that “Christ, our Passover Lamb, has been sacrificed. Therefore let us celebrate the feast!” (I Corinthians 5:7-8).

Happy Passover! Keep the feast in remembrance of our Lord.

The Change That is Coming!

As I alluded to in my video, there is a change coming. It will be one in which will usher a new world order where the US is not at the forefront. It will be the age in which we will see the rise of the last days powers that usher in the antichrist.

Americans stock up to be ready for end of the world

From a Feb. 14 article in The Guardian out of the UK, due to "Recession and the constant threat of terrorist attacks" that Americans are stocking up. They state that "new life" has been given to the "ingrained survivalist instinct." (article)

This is just not among church folk who are aware of what the Bible states concerning the last days. This is something that is instinctive. People have a sense of something - the know something is coming. Our first step in preparation is our soul! Then it is fasting and prayer. THEN it is the natural preparation.

Banking System in Trouble?!?!

Congressional Oversight Panel chair Elizabeth Warren said simply, "Well it's bad."
Then she explained, "We're looking at a situation where about half of all commercial real estate loans are going to be underwater by the end of this year, and that is going to have a direct impact on about 3,000 community banks, or about 40 percent of our entire banking system."

Another article describe the same situation: "Over the next several years, failed commercial real estate loans could litter American cities with empty stores and office complexes, cause hundreds of bank failures and weaken the economy, a watchdog report says"

Elizabeth Warren says she is giving us this forewarning so that we as a nation can prepare - to do something about it. My question to you is, if there were to be a closing of the local banks in your community due to this - are you prepared? There is a change coming! Are you prepared to meet the change?

A Change is a Comin'!

If this trend expert is correct (and his record has been pretty good), there is a change coming to America. Not the kind of change promised by Obama but a change in how we live - survive.
